Josie to me in bed the other night:
"Awww mommy. You are so cute. You are my best friend. I'm going to keep you forever."
Josie to Louie and I the other night over dinner:
"I can't eat anymore of my dinner. My tummy is all full. I think I need some more of that Halloween candy."
Me: "If your belly is all full and you can't fit in anymore dinner, then you can't fit in any candy either."
Josie (looking at her belly): "Actually, my belly is loose. Can I have some candy now?"
(And do you think we could actually tell her no?!)
Josie, still insisting that the baby will be fine sleeping in her bed despite the fact that we told her babies wake up very often to get milk in the middle of the night:
"I have plenty of milk in my boo-boos mom so Roly Poly will be just fine!"

LOL oh my goodness Josie cracks me up. I don't know how you and Lou keep a straight face sometimes. Laurie P.S. I am so glad you are writing these all down.
Josie is wonderful! What a great big sis she's going to be.
I famously told my parents my stomach had different compartments, so it made sense that the vegetable part was full but I still wanted candy -- of course the dessert section was the biggest!
